Monday through Friday
9:30am - 12:00pm
Community Room at Harriet Tubman Apartments
In keeping with the mission of the HTASC After-School program, children participating in our summer program will work on maintaining their grade-level academic skills in fun and engaging activities, allow curiosity and creativity to flourish with enrichment activities and, of course, have time each day to be outside and be active in cooperative and competitive games.
Children will have 30 minutes each day to maintain their reading and language arts skill with carefully crafts academic games and activities.
Children will enjoy this daily center with creative activities that tap into their love of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, and "make and take" art projects.
Outdoor games that promote cooperation, appropriate competitiveness, healthy exercise, and of course, FUN will be a part of every camp day (weather permitting).
Once a week, all children will go on a field trip to visit and explore a local cultural, educational and memorable location. Transportation is provided. There is no additional fee for field trips.
